MARGARET EVANS OWENS WARDROP

(1827-1913)

                Margaret Evans Owens Wardrop was born on 26 February 1827 in Festiniog, Merionethshire, North Wales, a daughter of William and Eleanor Evans Owens. She was the fourth child in a family of eleven children. She married Robert Campbell Wardrop on 3 June 1851, and they became the parents of eleven children: Mary Ellen, Robert, Catharine, Margaret, Jane, William, John, Alice Elizabeth, Owen, Allen, and Rachel. She died on 1 April 1913 in Salt Lake City and was brought to Wellsville for burial.
