Mary Lewis is the oldest daughter of David G. and Kezia Yates Lewis. She was born 2 May 1866 at Oak Hill, St. Louis County, Missouri. On 23 September 1890 she married James Summerfield, Jr.. They had one child - Foster Lewis Summerfield. Mary died at Hillsboro, St. Louis County, Missouri, on 2 May 1938.
