(Left to right) - Mary Jane Anthony Thomas, Thomas Richard Mathews, and Margaret Alice Davis Mathews. Mary Jane and Margaret Alice are half sisters - their mother is Alice Evans Davis (2nd marriage to John Anthony).
Thomas Richard Mathews and Margaret Alice Davis were married in Wales in about 1851. By 1857 they had three sons in Wales. Their daughter Charlotte and their son Thomas were born in Pennsylvania, and their son David was born in Ohio. They raised their family in Ohio.
