through the kindness of Divine Providence they came out unhurt.
I went to a weslean meeting house this evening at Cardiff in company with a
young sister of the name of Eliza Bruton from Leominster near Hereford England;

very great; they depend all of their salvation on the blood of Jesus Christ and
think that they can be saved without living a practical religion every Day.

in this conference are very faithful and willing to under any assistance they
possible can to build up the church. I feel in my heart the bless such good

wrote the letter than she has been.
My wife says that the man that digs the graves at the burrying ground near
Great Salt Lake City, has robbed the dead of their robes after they were
burried. A great deal of the garments of the dead were found in the man's house
besides what he has sold etc. My wife farther says that the old grave digger
has more monies according to her oppinion than any other man in the place.

gave me a copy of a letter that Thomas E. Jenkins late President of the
Carmarthen Conference wrote to brothers Hugh James and David Evans both of
which are members of the Carmarthen branch. Said Jenkins is follower of Joseph
Smith son of the Prophet Joseph Smith. Jenkins speaks very hard of the
Authorities of the church in Zion, and that is an evidence to me that the man
has lost the light he once enjoyed and is now in great darkness.
