Born: 6 May 1881 in Havod near Ponty Pridd,
Glamorganshire, South Wales.
Baptized: 4 May 1890 by Elder Richard Evans, Eureka
Ward.
Deacon: Certificate but no date. Recorded in the
Eureka Ward record of ordination book 2 No. 267 E.W. Redmond Clerk.
Emigrated to Utah when about 7 years old in the year 1890,
with parents living in Pleasant Valley or Winter Quarters, as some times called
untill a while after Fathers death. Then Mother moved to Provo, Utah and lived
there for some time then moved to Castle Gate, living there for some time.
Thomas Griffiths worked some time in the mines, then worked
some time on the outside untill he grew to be quite a young man. Then Mother
and son and one daughter Eva moved to Eurkea, Juaab county, living there many
years. Where both Thomas and Eva were married. Thomas Griffiths Married Sarah
Annie Rolfe. Eva married Christian Hanson both died young. Thomas Griffiths
worked in the Bullion Beck mine for a long time. Nephi Griffiths being his
overseer or boss. Then Thomas went leasing with his brother Nephi, then at
leasing he done fairly well to help provide for his Mother and sister. Thomas
sold out all his holdings in Eureka and bought a small farm in Springville,
Utah, Then His oldest daughter (Luretta) died and was buried in Springville,
Utah, he has three sons and one daughter yet living at this date.
His first wife died, then he married a second wife by the
name of Nancy Annie Powell who is his companion at the present time. 24 Aug
1935.
Member of the Springville Volunteer Firemen's association
for a number of years.

association.
Affiliated with the Independent Order of Odd Fellows.
Trombone: He played the trombone in Wales. When he
was bring water in to the house in Springville he needed a sink, so he used the
trombone for the sink.
Died: 31 Jul 1941 - Heart attack - at Home age 60
